Elevate SEO vs Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz and Ubersuggest
Semrush, Ahrefs and Moz are built for SEO teams that need large databases and dozens of tools. Ubersuggest is a lower-cost, all-purpose option. Elevate SEO is built for local businesses and the agencies that serve them: Google rankings, Google Maps and AI visibility in one place, with clear next steps and branded client reports, from a web dashboard or straight inside Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Here's an honest look at where each one fits.

Elevate SEO vs Semrush
Semrush is an all-in-one marketing suite with more than 50 tools covering SEO, ads, content and social. It's a strong choice for in-house marketing teams and large agencies. If you mainly need to know where a local business ranks, whether AI assistants recommend it and what to fix, most of that suite goes unused.

Elevate SEO is a better fit if
- Your clients depend on Google Maps and local search
- You want AI visibility included, not a separate $199/month product
- You need reports you can send to a client as-is

Ahrefs is a better fit if

Elevate SEO vs Moz Pro
Moz is one of the longest-running SEO software companies and the creator of Domain Authority. Moz Pro covers keyword research, rank tracking, site audits and link research, and its Standard plan and up now include AI visibility tracking. Google Maps rankings and Business Profile listings are handled by Moz Local, a separate product billed per location.
Elevate SEO is a better fit if
- You want rankings, Google Maps and AI visibility in one subscription, without a per-location add-on
- You want branded client reports on every plan (Moz starts them on its $179/month Medium plan)
- You want daily rank tracking (Moz updates rankings weekly)
- You want to work from Claude Code, Codex or Cursor without buying a separate API plan
Moz Pro is a better fit if
- Your reporting is built around Domain Authority
- You want to track more AI prompts (50 a week on Standard)
- You need listings sent to directories and kept in sync, which Moz Local does

Elevate SEO vs Ubersuggest
Ubersuggest, from Neil Patel, is the closest to Elevate SEO on price. It starts at $29/month, includes AI visibility and local rank tracking, and connects to Claude and other AI tools through its own MCP connector. The differences are in which AI assistants it checks, how far it goes on Google Maps, and what you can hand to a client.
Elevate SEO is a better fit if
- You need to know whether Claude and Perplexity recommend a business, not only ChatGPT
- You want Google Maps positions plus a Business Profile check with reviews compared against the local top 3
- You want branded client reports and share links ready to send
- You'd rather get a short fix list than a long list of metrics

Elevate SEO vs Semrush, Ahrefs and Moz: common questions
Is the data as good as Semrush, Ahrefs or Moz?
For rankings, Google Maps results, keyword data and site audits, Elevate SEO uses live data from DataForSEO, a provider that many SEO tools are built on. Semrush, Ahrefs and Moz run their own databases, which are larger, especially for backlinks and historical data. If deep backlink research is your main work, they're the stronger choice.
Can I use Elevate SEO alongside another SEO tool?
Yes. Some agencies keep Semrush, Ahrefs or Moz for research and use Elevate SEO for local tracking, AI visibility and client reports.
Is there a free trial?
No, but plans are monthly with no contract, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. You can see every tool before you buy on the features section.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Paid tools pause until your credits reset on the 1st, or you can buy a one-time credit pack. There are no automatic overage charges.
